The Logos Center is a Holistic, educational center with non-denominational Sunday services.
The Logos Center Mission:
- The first mission of Logos is holding The Great Commandment as our personal ideal, and to advocate and teach this as the ideal to be held by all people. The second mission of Logos may be described as training. As is often said, “Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach him how to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.” We think this applies to the mental and spiritual as well as the physical.
- Our second mission then is educational, informational, motivational, and inspirational. We have much to learn about our relationship with God and our purpose in the earth. We must learn about attunement. In addition, we must teach what we learn.
- Our third mission is application. There is work to be done. We are our brother’s keeper! We must apply what we learn. A major dimension of our life of application must also be a life of meditation and prayer. Edgar Cayce said, “That many a city, many a nation, has been saved from destruction by the prayers of a few.” Everyone can work in this way; it may very well be the greatest work any of us ever do.
Logos has a great mission. It is a simple plan for bettering our own lives and the lives of others. We invite you to join us in our work, in our fellowship, in our prayers and in our joy!
