Living For Now: A theme that runs through my book, “The Law of Sobriety” is the need for people that are recovering from any type of addiction to live for now. Too many people try to live for what might be or the perceived perfect life of the people that they admire and look up to. Their mindset is not focused in on the serenity that living the good life today brings; rather they are focused on what they don’t yet have in their life. This brings about feelings of inadequacy, jealousy or envy, all negative thoughts that are likely to trigger a return to the addictive behaviors you are trying to rid from your life.

Recently, NASA’s Solar Dynamics Observatory (which is constantly recording high-definition videos of the sun) caught tornado-like eruptions of hot plasma sweeping across the sun’s surface. Unlike on Earth, where tornadoes are driven by the wind, the sun’s tornadoes are shaped by the powerful magnetic field of our star. NASA released the Solar Dynamics Observatory’s video to celebrate the second anniversary of the spacecraft’s mission, which launched on February 11, 2010.
Watch this amazing video and see what a tornado looks like in space.
