  • Nancy is known as The Skeptical Psychic. She is a trained psychic detective, spiritual medium, medical intuitive and paranormal investigator.  She is also an attorney specialized in securities litigation and corporate law.  Despite her gifts and abilities in the spiritual realm, she is firmly grounded in reality and places her trust in evidence.
  • She is the author of several books – including her most recent book “Psychic Intuition” which explains in scientific terms why psychic ability is real and trainable; also an art history book “The Art of the Limoges Box”; co-authored the memoirs of a retired NYC homicide detective “Behind Criminal Minds”; and is currently working on another book about psychic intuition.
  • Nancy also works with law enforcement and victims’ families in missing persons and homicide cases, and gives private readings.  She teaches regular psychic development classes in New York City and the tri-state area, and lectures to university psychology students about psychic intuition.  Nancy trained for more than a decade and is certified in Intuitive Gestalt Psychotherapeutic dialoguing at the SomaPsyche Institute in New York.
  • Nancy has owned and operated several businesses including a skilled nursing home, porcelain manufacturing business, and health care newspaper.  She is a magna cum laude graduate of Princeton University and graduated with honors as a published member of the Law Review of Pace University School of Law.

“Hot Leads Cold Cases” is all about mysteries and the people who solve them.  Show host Nancy du Tertre, an attorney and psychic detective, interviews people from all different professions who are trained to explore and uncover the truth about strange, mysterious or unknown phenomena around the globe.

“Hot Leads Cold Cases”guests have wide-ranging interests from homicide detectives, crystal skull guardians, psychic detectives, missing persons coordinators, FBI toxicology experts, psychic healers, medical intuitives, legal prosecutors, neuroscientists, corporate espionage experts, alternative and complementary care specialists, remote viewers, animal communicators, paranormal investigators, and many more.

Nancy’s main focus is all about how we investigate the Unknown.  What tools and evidence do we use?  Who do we believe?  How do we trust our judgments and form our beliefs and hunches?  When does intuition or even psychic insight play a role?
