Death Comes Knocking, Whether We’re Ready or Not

From the desk of Crystal Andrus:

A few weeks ago, I attended a funeral for my friend’s father. He died a massive heart attack (I accidentally first wrote “massive heartache”).

There was no time to say “Good-bye”, “I’m sorry” or “Let’s get it right.”

It has made me think about some of the people in my own life; people who I wish I had a better relationship with, who I pray would meet me halfway, and who I know I will be sad that I couldn’t . . . or didn’t . . . find resolution with before their passing (even if I go first).

HoroscopesAries: This is a rather quiet cycle for you, sure you will respond when other folks talk to you, but even then, your answers will be brief. Face it; this is one of those cycles where you just don’t feel like being the life of the party. In fact, if you have necessary social engagements, you will make an appearance but, that’s about all. Once the room gets noisy, you will excuse yourself and leave by the back door. The reason that you are conspicuously silent, bordering on obvious is that you need to retreat to a sacred space in your mind and reprioritize things. With Uranus setting up his tent in your Sun Sign, things aren’t working out the way that you thought that they would. Is there anything worse than working really hard to get to a personal goal, only to arrive there and have a Ho Hum response to it all ? No doubt you are changing from the inside out, and only by going within and doing some advanced soul searching can you find your direction for the future. Rest assured, that Uranus will throw up more than a few roadblocks along the way, he just loves to test your reflexes along with your motivation. Okay, you may as well accept that your goals are shapeshifting, since you are as well.more

Welcome to May! My thoughts this month turn not to the title of the month, but to what the word “May” actually means. Its origins come from the OldEnglish/German word “Magan” – meaning having the power to. The modern use is with regard to permission. “May I work for you?” That is the question that every good Medium (psychic and healer) should be asking before working with you. The key to accuracy in the work with energy and/or Spirit, is permission. And with permission comes empowerment. Isn’t it interesting that the word MAY covers both permission and empowerment in its definitions? There is so much written about vibration and the power of positive thinking, perhaps allow the definition of MAY to add to that. When you say yes in answer to “May I….” the word YES brings a higher vibration to the moment its uttered in (and question its answered to). If YES comes in conjunction with empowerment the results can be fantastic. How can you permit and empower yourself this month of May?

Q: My nephew can’t sleep without nightmares throughout the night ~ Help! Melissa

Laura Lee’s Answer

HoroscopesAries: Now that Mercury is moving away from Uranus in your Sun Sign, you can feel your central nervous system gradually settling down, a day at a time. How nice that your mind is no longer a quivering gelatinous mess, reverberating with every new thought. Granted, you are not quite rock steady yet, but with every breath of Spring, you find more quiet moments than you have had in a good 6 weeds. Heck, your overworked mind will even let you get some sleep, which is new and refreshing as compared to recently when you were thinking yourself awake. Is there anything worse than laying there in the dark with the hamster in your brain squeaking and spinning ? I think not. Certainly, you are still on a bit of an information overload, but, at least you can slow your mind enough to sort it all out now. Rest assured, that Uranus in Aries will continue to bring you many last minute surprises, but in time you will roll along with them. Luckily, you are not built to run from a challenge, so you will be more than able to keep up the pace. Change is the only constant in life. Now that you know that your life situations will continue to shapeshift on you, the only smart thing to do is to become your own agent of change. Look at it this way, you can rid yourself of dusty life lessons, get a great cardio workout and you sure won’t be bored !More Signs
