A magnitude 5.8 earthquake hit Virginia Tuesday leaving many across the Eastern Seaboard in shock. The quake was centered around Mineral, Virginia, approximately 80 miles from Washington D.C. The unusual rumbles surprised residents all along the East Coast, reaching as far as New York, Boston, Ohio, and Ontario.
